How to Get a Yale University Refund

If you purchased through Yale University directly:

1. Visit the Yale University website at yale.edu.
2. Scroll to the bottom of the page and click on Contact Us.
3. Select the option for Customer Support.
4. Locate the Membership and Subscription section.
5. Click on the Submit a Request button.
6. In the request form, select Refund Request from the dropdown menu.
7. Fill out all required fields with accurate information, including:
• Your Account Information (name, email).
• The Transaction ID of your purchase.
• A brief Description of your request.
8. In the Description field, emphasize that the subscription renewed without your consent or that your account was unused.
9. Attach any relevant documentation, if applicable, such as proof of purchase.
10. Review the information you provided, then click on Submit.
11. You should receive a confirmation email regarding your request. Monitor your inbox for updates on your refund.

If you purchased through a third-party platform (like Apple or Google Play):

1. Open the App Store (for Apple) or Google Play Store (for Android).
2. For Apple: Tap on your profile icon in the top right corner.
3. Scroll down to find Subscriptions and tap it. For Google: Tap on Your Apps & Games > Subscriptions.
4. Select the Yale Service you wish to refund.
5. For Apple, tap on Report a Problem; for Google, tap on Manage and then Cancel Subscription.
6. Choose Request Refund for Apple or Request a Refund for Google.
7. In the refund reasoning, mention that the renewal happened without proper notification or that you had no usage the last subscription period.
